Alfa Romeo Stelvio QV becomes the fastest SUV

Another day, another record in the Ring. If yesterday we knew the time of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS at the Nürburgring which made it the fastest production car on the circuit (6:47), today we know of a new record, although in this case corresponds to the fastest SUV in Hell Green. We talk about the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Verde, the most powerful version of the Alfa SUV.
And it does not surprise us too much, because since we tried the Alfa Romeo Stelvio we were clear that this is one of the best cars with the best tuning of the market (with permission maybe of the Porsche Macan), and that shows with driving it a few kilometers . What time did you get? 7 minutes, 51 seconds and 7 tenths.
With this new record back in the old Nürburgring Nordschleife, Alfa Romeo already has two record times, the Giulia QV in the series saloon category (7:32) and Stelvio QV (7:51). This last mark supposes to surpass in 8 seconds the previous record of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, that in turn was crowned like the faster SUV of the Ring in front of the Range Rover Sport SVR.
To begin with, the Stelvio QV, as its twin sedan, combines a 2.9 liter V6 twin turbo 510 hp and 600 Nm maximum torque with full Q4 traction, eight-speed automatic transmission with large cams behind the steering wheel, a differential with torque vector, adaptive suspension (CDC) or high-performance brakes, for example.
The pilot in charge of marking this time of return is the same one that it obtained with the Giulia Quadrifoglio, that is to say, the Italian Fabio France, champion of Italy of prototypes, among other achievements. Whether or not these times are back, we will always like to keep an eye on the onboard videos that launch the marks along with their record.
