Audi R8 V10 RWS so are the 999 units of this rear-wheel drive for purists

Amazing what Audi has presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Maybe we are in front of the last pure supercar, with permission of the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package that have presented their German cousins. I say it for the Audi R8 V10 RWS.
This is a version of its supercar limited to only 999 units that has as main feature that only has rear-wheel drive. Heresy to quattro or not, call it whatever you want, it's a genius.
Let's not forget that the Audi R8 V10 still mounts the atmospheric 5.2 V10 block, one of the best engines in history capable of climbing around with a speed and ease difficult to reach with one of the modern turbocharged blocks.
Available in a Coupé or Spyder body, the Audi R8 V10 RWS is also 50 kilos lighter than the Audi R8 V10 Coupé series and 40 kilos lighter in the case of the Spyder.
We are therefore faced with a car for purists that with its 540 hp and a maximum torque of 540 Nm at 6,500 RPM, is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds (3.8 seconds in the Spyder) and reach a top speed of 320 km / h (318 km / h for the Spyder).
Inside a plate will identify it as 1/999 so no one is wrong when you see it, because on the outside there will be nothing to identify it as an Audi R8 V10 RWS.
Available this fall, the price of the Audi R8 V10 RWS Coupé in Spain will be 165,500 euros while the Spyder will be on sale from 180,250 euros.
