Fiat expands the range of the renewed and versatile 500L, a basic link for the Italian house and that we could try a few months ago. The Fiat 500L City Cross, an urban crossover available in nine colors and with equipment focused on renewing the subtle changes we saw in the 500L, arrives to the dealers next week.
Fiat offers three engines according to our needs: petrol 1.4 16V of 70kw (95 hp) and 1.4 TJet of 88kw (120 hp), in addition to diesel engine 1.3 16V MultiJet of 70kw (95 hp). The price starts at 13,600 euros, with promotion and financing with the Italian house.
Its more muscular and aggressive appearance can be seen in the exterior elements, such as the specific bumpers with protective plate, the front grille and the 25 mm high alignment. The overall impression becomes sportier with the new black elements such as 17-inch alloy wheels, rearview mirror covers, contrasting roof available as an option, and side and rear moldings.
This special edition of the 500L is available in nine colors, pastel or metallic, but the most outstanding is the 'Orange Sicilia' that has used the Italian firm to promote it, playing with the contrast of the black ceiling. In the interior, the black color takes all the protagonism. It emphasizes the wraparound strip of the dashboard, available in black or white, and the seats of black upholstery with white seams and logo "500".
As for standard equipment, the 500L City Cross comes with ABS, ESP, six airbags, manual climate control, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, 3'5 "color touch screen, split 60/40 split rear seat and LED.
The engine includes three options: petrol 1.4 16V of 70kw (95 hp) and 1.4 TJet of 88kw (120 hp) and diesel engine 1.3 16V MultiJet of 70kw (95 hp), also available with Dualogic gearbox. City Cross will be available from next week.
