A year after showing the world its latest prototype Vision Gran Turismo, dedicated to the mythical saga of video games, the French manufacturer returns to the load with an evolution of the same, on the occasion of the launch of the last title, Gran Turismo Sport. It is called the Peugeot L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo and will be available in the game, coming to market on 18 October.

This more sporty and attractive variant of the hybrid supercar of the lion is also based on a carbon fiber monocoque, and its hybrid propulsion system consists of an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, for a total of 750 hp. Best of all, the 580 hp gasoline engine reaches 10,000 rpm.

Both the engine and transmission - a sequential seven-speed gearbox - are mounted on the rear of the vehicle, and the electric motor is powered by a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery. Added to this are ventilated carbon brake discs, independent suspension on both axles, magnesium rims or a more aerodynamic design.

Thanks to all this and a weight of only 825 kilograms (175 kilograms less than the previous L500), the Peugeot L750 R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.4 seconds. Both this and the previous variant will be available to be used in the game, in just over a week.

The latest installment of the popular saga of video games of driving is called Gran Turismo Sport and, although it arrives almost a year behind the initial launch plan, will be available in stores from next October 18.

Of course, it promises to be the best chapter of the series thanks to the graphics and the sound of the vehicles, point in which they say to have put special emphasis, since it has been the heel of Achilles of the different editions of the GT. In any case, we also know that, for the first time, we can choose Porsche models (and not just RUF). We are already looking forward to trying it.
