The Ferrari FXX-K Evo has arrived with active aerodynamics

By leveraging the Finali Mondiali event in Mugello, Italy, Ferrari has launched the all-time wildest circuit model, the Ferrari FXX-K Evo that we have heard during its development phase at Monza. This is an evolution for the FXX-K that will be available for existing cars, although production is limited.
Such animals do not have street homologues nor are they created to participate in any competition, outside of private events organized by Ferrari. In connection with the FXX K, this Evoluzione continues the story of FXX Evoluzione and 599XX Evoluzione improves aerodynamics and reduces weight in an important way.
According to the brand, nearly a year of work in a wind tunnel and through a CFD simulation means getting a downforce rate similar to GT3 and GTE vehicles, which is 23% more than FXX K and 75% more than a LaFerrari road: 640 kilograms load at 200 km / hours and more than 830 kilograms with the maximum speed of the model.

This is partly due to the adoption of fixed wings, a type of shark fin (F1 style) or a new flat base, although active aerodynamics still exists and the bumper has also been redesigned to improve airflow. Finally, a change is required in the suspension setting (magneteorological damper) due to the new model aerodynamic profile.
In the passenger compartment we found a redesigned steering wheel coming from the world of Formula 1 (with integrated sliding panels, Manetinno and controls for KERS), a 6.5-inch rear camera and a new telemetry system that allows real-time view of all performance parameters and vehicle status.
Although the Evoluzione is expected to be a higher number of FXX K (about 1,200 CV, rumored) powers, the truth is that Ferrari has decided to maintain the mechanical configuration of the car, consisting of a 6.3-liter V12 atmosphere (capable of over 9,000 RPM) and electric propellers , with a maximum torque of 1,050 HP and 900 Nm.
Ferrari has not announced an empty weight figure, but we know that it's distributed 41% on the front axle and 59% in the back. FXX Evo-K mount Pirelli P Zero dimensions 285/650 345/725 R19 and R20 and has a Brembo carbocerámicos team of 398 mm discs on the front and 380 mm at the rear.
